Job Description

About Scratch Cook BBQ

Scratch Cook BBQ is a vibrant and exciting street food company, serving up Indian BBQ from a custom converted horse trailer.  Our core principle is to create amazing experiences for our customers with food cooked from scratch and we only use high quality ingredients with a strong focus on customer orientation.

We cook up skewers of Lamb, Chicken, Paneer (V) and Mushroom (Ve) each marinated in their own Indian spices and cooked over open fire (charcoal) on a Robata grill. This is served in biodegradable bowls of Saffron Rice, Crushed Masala Sweetcorn, Pickled Salad and Minted Yogurt sauce. All of the dishes are gluten free and we have dairy free options too.

We currently have 3 team members and due to rapid expansion, we are looking to bring on a fourth associate.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and engaging individual to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, understands the importance of good customer service and is a good communicator.

The candidate will mainly be working on the truck at event days from set-up and/or through to clean down and as a Food Truck Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and serving our dishes, taking customer orders and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Event days generally fall on the weekend from Friday to Sunday and there maybe weekday events too.  From an event location perspective, we operate mainly in the West Midlands and the candidate maybe be required to make their own way there.  Where possible, Scratch Cook Social will provide transportation from, and returning to, Leamington Spa.

Prior to larger events, the associate may also be required to assist in preparing the dishes in our prep kitchen located in Leamington Spa.
