Role Overview:

As a Junior Barista, you’ll be an essential part of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service. Whether you’re perfecting the art of the espresso shot or ensuring every cup is beautifully crafted, this role is ideal for someone who’s eager to learn, passionate about coffee, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Coffee & Beverages: Learn how to use our coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and milk frothers, to create a variety of drinks (e.g., espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks) to a high standard.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide a friendly, welcoming experience. Answer questions about the menu and assist customers with choosing the right beverages and food options.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep your work area, the barista station, and customer-facing areas tidy and organized. Ensure equipment is cleaned regularly and maintained to ensure optimal performance.
• Stocking & Inventory Support: Assist with restocking coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients. Notify the manager when supplies are running low.
• Cash Handling: Learn how to use the till, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments in a professional manner.
• Team Collaboration: Work with your team to deliver excellent service during peak times, ensuring customers receive their orders quickly and accurately.
• Customer Experience: Go the extra mile to make sure every customer feels welcome and valued. Make personalized drink recommendations, and help create a positive atmosphere.
• Promote Special Offers: Inform customers about new menu items, special deals, and seasonal offerings to enhance their experience.

Skills & Qualifications:

• No Experience Required: This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about coffee but doesn’t yet have professional barista experience. We’ll provide full training to get you started.
• Eager to Learn: A genuine interest in learning more about coffee preparation, equipment, and the art of barista skills.
• Customer-Focused: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll need to be friendly, approachable, and able to provide excellent customer service.
• Attention to Detail: A willingness to focus on every detail, from the perfect espresso shot to creating a beautifully presented drink.
